2026 PMBS EVENTS
2025 RULES

Must finish at least two of the three 2025 races to qualify for series awards.

IF YOU RACE IN ALL THREE EVENTS, YOU WILL GET 3 BONUS POINTS TO ADD TO YOUR TWO HIGHEST SCORES. We thought of making you have to race all three events to qualify for series awards, but we wanted more racers to be involved this first year considering we didn't get this news out before we opened some registrations.

Series points will be based on your two best races. (1) If you race in all three races, your lowest score will be thrown out. (2) If you only race in two races, those two scores go towards your series points. (3) If you race in only one event, you do not qualify for series awards.

Highest number of points will win that category.

If there is a tie in points at the end of the series, the tie breaker will go to the racer with the highest points in the first race they competed together in. For example, if racer #1 competed in PMBS #1, #2 & #3 and Racer #2 competed in PMBS #2 & #3 then the racer with the highest points in PMBS #2 wins the tie breaker.

You must complete each race on your own bike. You are allowed to get help with mechanicals from other racers/spectators/mechanics.

$300 5-Day Stage Race Credit ($180 3-Day Credit)​​

5th Place = $200 5-Day Stage Race Credit ($120 3-Day Credit)​​

6th Place = $150 5-Day Stage Race Credit ($90 3-Day Credit)

7th Place = $100 5-Day Stage Race Credit ($60 3-Day Credit)

8th Place = $50 5-Day Stage Race Credit ($30 3-Day Credit)​​​
Top 8 in each category will earn race credit to one of our stage races. If you aren't aware, we operate the Pisgah Stage Race, Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic, and the Trans-Sylvania Gravel Epic. Credit listed below is for the 5-Day options in the stage races. If you'd choose to race in a 3-Day version, then you'd have 60% of the credit to use. For example, if you get 1st place in your category and want to do a 3-Day version, then you'd have $450 in credit to use.

Points will be earned by the place you finish in your category. Points will start at 100 and one point will be deducted for each place down the line. See below for points scale example.​
