Uwharrie Gravel Run (UGR) will be held in Uwharrie National Forest at the Badin Lake Recreation Area just outside of Troy, North Carolina.
We're excited to bring this 2nd annual event to the Trans-Sylvania Production nation. We started the Uwharrie Forest Gravel Grinder here in 2018 and feel the "Jeep Climb" could be a really cool thing for runners to experience as well. So here we are.

Race is located at King's Mountain Point in the Badin Lake Recreation Area of Uwharrie National Forest. We will use the King's Mountain Point Pavilion as the parking area and for the start/finish.
Parking will be in the field beside the pavilion area. Additional parking can be found in the King's Mountain Point parking lot. Even though this area is big, it can fill up quickly. We ask that you carpool if possible. Please park close to other vehicles and follow the parking attendants instructions so we can fit everyone in around the start/finish area. We don't have many other parking options to use at this location.
